The Medulla Review
MICHAEL MC ALORAN

Obituary-

I am the dread of the black sun

An obituary of tears

Ice-

Superfluous the sun grieves for

No thing

Perhaps ice has better

Understanding

Of

Spent cries

Attributes

The wind plays soft accordion

Razors

Lungs upon a butcher’s

Board

Obliteration’s kiss

The sky has no final attributes

Play-

Day by day

Graves vibrate a little less

The children play upon fresh grass
